I have some prints left of my edition of part III of THE HEDGEHOG PEOPLE which was limited to 20 pieces.
The original artwork was executed in a certain technique called mische technique. Mische means that you use alternating layers of oil glazings and layers of egg tempera. In this case I started with a red oil layer, then put highlights in with white egg tempera. The same was done with a yellow layer, then a blue one. After the last highlights with white egg tempera the top layer was done with all the different local colors in oils. Just fyi! 🙂
More infos beneath the picture!
The prints are all of the size 40 x 30 cms (which is about 15.75 x 11.81 inches)
There is a white border of 1 cm around the picure, where I signed, and which holds the date, etc. – so the actual printed area is 38 x 28 cms.
The prints are Giclée prints, all on a very heavy torchon Hahnemühle paper, printed with archieval inks and highly lightfast (museum quality).
The price is 100 $ respectively 100 € including shipping worldwide .
